We finally moved into our house! After months of waiting on the container to be released we finally moved in last Saturday. We've been working all day everyday this week on getting everything in it's right place and Jordania and I were beyond ecstatic to have grown up size pots and pans again.
On Thursday we bought a used oven after weeks of searching. Most ovens in Brazil are very small, for example:
It's perfect for little Tollhouse elves. But this is our new (to us) oven:

Hellooooo, HBH! Greetings from Germany!
ReplyDeleteLove your elfin oven (we have tiny ovens here too) and your fantastic flower photos.
Three cheers for living in foreign lands. Enjoy this time and one-up me by learning some of the local lingo. :)
Your house is wonderful. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Hailey,
ReplyDeleteFound you from you mom and just dropped in to wish you a wonderful day and enjoy your time in Brazil! What experiences you will have! Your sweet little home is so charming, and loving that coconut tree!
Enjoy your time spent with your mom. I pray that God will grant safe travels for you all on your adventures!

Hailey, a couple of questions, is that outdoor fireplace an oven? That takes outdoor fireplaces to a new level. Also, are the parrots in the trees like, in the wild? I guess I thought all parrots sat on a metal pedestal and learn to say "Polly wants a cracker." Also those Brazilian steakhouse wannabes in America, is there really such a thing in Brazil where the gauchos bring a huge skewer of steak and slice it at the table and all that?
